CHARLES GAVIN OPPERMANN, ESQUIRE, born Boulder, Colorado, November 23, 1978, admitted to bar in Colorado 2005 and NJ 2007. Admitted to practice in New Jersey State Courts; US District Court, New Jersey; and State of Colorado Courts.
EDUCATION: University of Colorado (B.A., 2001). Rutgers-Camden, Law (J.D. 2005).
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE: Interning as In-House counsel for the medical device manufacturing company, Medtronic, in their Surgical Navigation Division, during his tenure as a law student, Mr. Oppermann honed his skills relating to Negotiations, Business Law, and Commercial Transactions. After law school he returned to Colorado and opened his own private practice where he worked closely with several small local firms on complex matters, as well as, provided services to clients in matters ranging from capital investment to landlord tenant. Seeing his opportunity to give back a little of the blessings he has received, Mr. Oppermann took an appointment with the Small Business Administration's Office of Disaster Assistance. Leaving Colorado for Texas, he provided legal counsel on matters pertaining to relief for victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, as well as other national and local disasters. Upon completion of his appointment with the SBA he returned to New Jersey to merge his experiences and talents with Mattleman, Weinroth & Miller, P.C.
