Is it better to settle my case or go to trial? Is there always a trial?

In New Jersey, only about 2% of cases actually go to trial; 98% of cases are resolved through negotiations between the attorneys and parties involved. This is usually much better because the judge only has one day to get acquainted with you and the issues involved.
Going to trial is quite costly due to the extensive amount of prep work done by your attorney. Contact your attorney to discuss your options and what route will work best for you.
