Social media posting privacy issues for juveniles is a huge and very serious legal issue in today’s world. Juveniles have extensive opportunities for legal exposure via technology, but do not always have the maturity and responsibility needed to deal with the consequences of their actions.
For instance, young people may post and distribute to classmates photos given to them by a friend. This can result in extremely serious charges such as invasion of privacy, or distribution and manufacture of pornography.
This can result in serious, dire consequences such as inability to be enrolled in college, inability to get financial aid, and the inability to secure employment.
