COVID-19 Business Payment Protection Program

The CARES Act was signed into law on Friday, March 27, 2020 and introduces the Paycheck Protection Program which is designed to prevent job loss and small business failure due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). The Paycheck Protection Program provides a forgivable loan to cover payroll and other costs to small businesses such as sole proprietorships and non-profits organizations while the CARES Act also expands the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program.
