Gayl C. Spivak, Esq.

Gayl Spivak bio page

I have been practicing law for 25 years, specializing in the area of creditor’s rights representing mortgage lenders and services. I have litigated cases through to trial and argued cases at the appellate level in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. My knowledge and industry experience in this area of law have allowed for growth beyond courtroom practice, and my attention is now tailored to the individual needs of lenders and services, understanding the challenges they have faced as a result of the many changes to the industry. I believe in treating all clients, no matter how big or small, with the respect and personal attention that they deserve to create successful partnerships and produce the most efficient results.

Prior to joining Mattleman, Weinroth & Miller, I was the New Jersey Managing Attorney for a multi-state foreclosure firm, and played a vital role in growing that office from 11 employees to 70, while managing a large client portfolio. Prior to that, I played an integral role in the early stages and growth of two other foreclosure firms, developing a broad base of knowledge in all areas of foreclosure and related practice areas. Even before admission to the bar, I played an active role in the legal community around myself. In college, I interned with the Boston Juvenile Court, while working directly with prosecutors and court psychiatrists to evaluate and protect children from abusive households. In law school, I was selected as a third-year law student for limited bar admissions to prosecute preliminary hearings with the Delaware County, Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Office.
